| Senior's Lunch |

| On the first Wednesday of every month (except July and August) we have a special lunch for all those who are 55 years of age or older. It starts at 11am, usually with with a short program, some singing and a devotional. This is followed by a lovely meal and a good time of visiting over coffee and dessert. |

This is a wonderful time for the "mature" generation in our rural area to get together. There are always a good number of laughs. At the same time, we don't shy away from talking about serious issues as well. Primarily, we want to honor our elders, and do this out of love for them. We also want them to know God's love, and all have an understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. |
| Lots of people are invloved in making this lunch happen every month. Some are in the kitchen, some work on table decorations, some do special gifts for those with birthdays and anniversaries, others help to set up and clean up. With a good number of homeschooling families in our church, there are always children involved in helping, and the seniors just love that. If you'd like to get involved, please contact us. |
